Apprenticeship
There are a variety of apprenticeship roles available in the professional services sector.
You could do:
- higher or modern apprenticeship as an internal audit practitioner
- higher or modern apprenticeship as a junior management consultant
- higher or modern apprenticeship as an associate project manager
- higher or modern apprenticeships as a digital product manager
- degree or graduate apprenticeship as a chartered manager
- degree or graduate apprenticeship as a project manager
- degree or graduate apprenticeship as a digital and technology solutions professional
You'll usually need:
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 or National 5s at grades A to C
- A levels or Scottish Highers, or equivalent, for a higher, degree, or graduate apprenticeship

You could do a degree, then join a graduate scheme to complete further training.
Employers will accept a range of degree subjects, including:
- accountancy
- economics
- business and finance
- IT and computing
- maths
- science
- project or business management
You'll usually need:
- 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 or National 5s at grades A to C, or equivalent, including English and maths
- 2 to 3 A levels, Scottish Highers or equivalent, for a degree
- a degree in any subject for a postgraduate course

You can join a company as a trainee auditor.
You may be able to start with an organisation as an assistant project manager if you've got experience of working in IT.
You could then do further training on the job and take on more management responsibilities.
You'll usually need:
- at least A levels, Scottish Highers or equivalent, and you'll be expected to take further training as your career develops
