This event is to introduce you to a career as a software developer. You will also have the chance to meet professionals and improve your employability skills. This is open to all students in year 13, whether you have applied to University, or would like to leave school to undertake an Apprenticeship.

You will find out more about what working as a software developer in the tech industry is actually like. If you are interested you can find out how you can apply for the Makers Academy Bootcamp scheme starting in August. 

This is a great opportunity for anyone that is interested in becoming a developer and working in the tech industry.  

The day will include:

- Arrival and icebreaker activity 
- Makers Academy introduction 
- Inspiring speaker 
- 2 hour coding session 
- Lunch + tour 
- Previous bootcamp grads 'demo day' presentation 
- Speed mentoring
- Next steps talk and close 

Minimum Requirements: You need to be in year 13 or Gap Year, motivated and keen to learn, interested in a career in the Tech industries.
