If you’re interested in a career in engineering then join us for a day of work experience with Network Rail. Meet professionals from Europe’s fastest growing railway company, find out more about the different career paths available in engineering and improve your skills.

Who should apply

• Students aged 16-19 interested in finding out more about engineering careers.

• Students who are excited to have an opportunity to embark on a 2 year apprenticeship, learn and be inspired to enter a career in engineering.

• Students who are interested in an advanced paid apprenticeship.

What you’ll do on the day

• Meet engineering professionals from Network Rail.

• Go on a tour of a functioning rail depot and learn about what makes it work.

• Take part in a hands-on engineering activity led by Network Rail’s engineers.

Photo and video consent
