Overview
Shawbrook is a new type of specialist financial services company that provides savings and lending to small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals in the UK. Their business and people are driven by a strong purpose – to help solve complex problems that unlock opportunities for their rapidly growing customer base of over 300,000 UK consumers and businesses.
Shawbrook was born in 2011 - making them younger than Facebook, Twitter, Uber and Just Eat. By building on the foundations of what they have created, they have achieved something in common with these brands - they are disrupting their sector. Shawbrook has come a long way in just ten years. Since moving from being a publicly listed company into private ownership in 2017 they have continued to invest in their growth through technological transformation, their people and through the acquisition of businesses.
Today, they employ more than 1000 people across the UK with primary sites in Brentwood, London, Redhill, Manchester and Glasgow. Having a diverse, inclusive workplace helps them move much faster towards achieving their goals. They believe in hiring and developing people who are reflective of their culture and have the skills to help their customers. They're focused on investing in their people to help them make the most of life at Shawbrook. They take employee health and well-being very seriously by providing a range of benefits to give employees and their families peace of mind.
