Location: Leeds and Manchester
Start date: September 2025.
Application criteria:
- You must have 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at Grade 4 or above.
- 3 A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
- Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme in L&D (L3 CIPD)
- Interest in motivating people, learning and development, human resources, or related fields
- Previous experience in events or administration is a plus but not a requirement
Key skills:
- An interest in AI and content creation
- An interest in learning to use digital design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Proficient with using IT equipment and Microsoft programmes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
- Proactive and positive attitude to problem-solving and taking on new challenges
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills independently as well as part of a team

About the Addleshaw Goddard Learning and Development Apprenticeship
In this role, you will support the Learning and Development team by performing a variety of tasks including administration, programme event coordination, digital design, and team support. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, highly organised, and passionate about helping others develop their skills and knowledge alongside studying the CIPD L3 Learning and Development.
Below are some of the responsibilities for this role:
- Work with Senior Advisors to create, design and implement digital content, including videos, podcasts, vodcasts, e-learning modules, and other materials.
- Use the learning management system and other digital and Microsoft platforms to perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining learning records, uploading and sharing learning content and learning systems administration.
- Help plan, organise, and execute training programmes and events. This includes coordinating logistics, preparing materials and slides, and ensuring smooth operation during events.
- Learn the life cycle of a learning engagement and support the Senior Advisors in the team to develop, deliver and measure effective solutions.
- Use a variety of channels to engage and inform employees about the learning opportunities available to them.
- Provide general support to the Learning and Development team, including assisting with special projects, research, and other tasks as needed.
