Who Are Arm?

Arm technology is at the heart of a computing and connectivity revolution that is transforming the way people live and businesses operate. Their processor designs are enabling the intelligence in 120 billion silicon chips and securely powering products from the sensor to the smartphone to the supercomputer.

Arm are pleased to announce that they have been included in the School Leaver 200 rankings for 2021. This annual survey, carried out by leading careers technology company Group GTI and their research consultancy Cibyl, is the only one of its kind in the UK that seeks the opinions of students aged 12-18.

They are so excited to be included in the top 200 at number 103 and this is a real testament to their apprenticeship programme that they relaunched last year.

What is the Software Engineer apprenticeship?

This four year apprenticeship comprises both paid work and study, allowing you to earn while working towards a BSc Honours degree, funded by Arm. Your on-the-job learning is supported by a dedicated mentor at Arm and academic support from the university.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through several of Arm's teams and experience diverse types of software development: from low-level embedded software, computer vision and machine learning up to higher level software development.

As an apprentice at Arm, you will make a real impact, while also building on key skills for your future. You will work on interesting new projects and receive support from your line manager and training provider. You will also be given a certain amount of flexibility and freedom in how you decide to complete your projects/tasks.

As well as being offered a competitive salary, there are also opportunities to get involved in some of the many social events that are organised within Arm.
