About the Junior Journalist Apprenticeship
This is an 2-year apprenticeship with a starting salary of £22,950.
In this apprenticeship you will work alongside news and current affairs teams to develop your journalistic skills creating and delivering quality content for the BBC.
You will:
- Gain an industry-recognised qualification.
- Get involved with all newsroom activities, such as sourcing and securing compelling contributors or guests, writing briefs for your team, or shooting and editing films.
- Find and create stories for diverse audiences - including coming up with new ideas, carrying out in-depth research and assisting with interviews.
