  • Be 18 or over by September 2026
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years
  • Legally eligible to work full-time in the UK
  • Non-graduates (for these Level 3/4 roles)
  • For candidates under 19: Maths and English GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent (or must achieve during apprenticeship)

About the opportunity

Join the BBC as a Production Apprentice and gain hands-on experience working across TV, radio, digital, and social media content. This is your chance to develop skills behind the scenes on productions ranging from dramas and live events to radio, podcasts, and digital content. You’ll work on real projects, learn on the job, and complete an industry-recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the production process, including planning and organisation of shoots
  • Filming and editing content using cameras, DSLRs, or smartphones
  • Researching trends and generating creative ideas for digital and social media
  • Assisting with graphics, social media posts, or content creation
  • Learning technical and creative production skills relevant to your placement
