About the opportunity

This degree apprenticeship allows students to earn a salary while studying for a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions degree via the Cyber Security Professional pathway. Learning is in partnership with a university or learning provider in the South East of England, alongside hands-on work on CGI projects.

Apprentices will support cyber, cloud, and mission-critical projects, contributing to secure systems that underpin the UK’s national infrastructure while developing technical, business, and professional skills.

Main responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and testing technical solutions for live projects
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges
• Exploring and applying emerging technologies in cyber, cloud, space, and mission systems
• Supporting secure systems that underpin the UK’s national infrastructure
• Participating in early careers initiatives and contributing ideas beyond day-to-day work

As CGI is a consultancy, flexibility and a willingness to travel to different project locations may be required.
