  • Receive a degree in Software Development from Glasgow Caledonian University without having to pay tuition fees whilst working in one of the world’s biggest tech companies

  • For school leavers with a minimum requirement of 5 A*-C GCSEs and 120 UCAS points across 3 A levels grace C or above (predicted or actual) with a strong interest in technical ability

 

The role

CGI’s Software Development degree apprenticeship will put you at the centre of the diverse work that they do.

  • CGI’s work is project-based. This means you have the opportunity to work across a wide range of roles, industries and locations, there is no ‘typical day’. The varied work means that the opportunity to move internally within the company is huge, so you can take control of your career from your first day.

 

The programme

  • Receive a BSc in Software Development from Glasgow Caledonian University as part of the programme whilst also developing your career at CGI four days a week.

  • You’ll receive generous sponsorship from CGI meaning you won’t have to pay a penny in tuition fees, you’ll have a laptop and course materials provided for you and all the support you’ll need.

  • The programme also offers a competitive starting salary.

Requirements

This program is for school leavers with a strong interest in tech who:

 

  1. Have achieved or are predicted to achieve  is 4 Highers at Grade B or above including 1 in Maths, Physics or Computing (equivalent qualifications are accepted) unless you can show strong technical (programming/development) ability through work experience or extra-curricular activities.

 

  1. Have achieved at least 7 Scottish National 5 at grade 1-3 including English or Maths (equivalent qualifications are accepted)

 

Location

  • You could be based in CGI’s Glasgow office.

  • However, you may have to travel beyond your base location for certain projects.
