About the Finance Apprenticeship Programme
This is a Level 4 Professional Accounting/Tax Technician apprenticeship. As a Finance apprentice you could be working in the Finance Change, Product Control or Tax teams.
Finance Change:
You will work with Finance Subject Matter Experts in the financial reporting of the banks traded products. You will also form part of a team that is responsible for documenting and delivering solutions to overcome existing reporting issues.
Product Control:
You will work with the front office traders, trade management, risk and valuation teams to gain exposure to investment banking products and understand how a bank trades on a daily basis. You will understand, substantiate and control the daily trading revenue and report the profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis.
Tax:
You will develop technical expertise in U.K. and international taxes, work on innovative technology based solutions, report obligations and deliver successful tax solutions that are robust, sustainable and aligned to the business strategy.
On a day-to-day basis you’ll work with 5-10 individuals which may include colleagues from other disciplines and regions.
