Location: Leeds

Start date: Summer 2025 (offical start date to be confirmed)

• To be eligible you must be age 18+ 
• You will need to be studying at University in your final year

Students who are outside of the criteria are still encouraged to apply!

Key skills: 

• A “can-do” attitude and great communication skills are essential.
• Be highly organised, efficient, and self-motivated with the ability to work across a range of tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills, including at least intermediate level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to get on with a wide variety of people at all levels of seniority in a range of style.
• Be a collaborative team player and working together with the rest of the admin team

About the Business Development Internship

The Business Development Team leads EMS new business, service innovation and market expansion, public relations, marketing and communications.

During your placement, you will learn core skills that are universally applicable to business (e.g. sales, work winning, pricing, contract negotiation, marketing) as well as specific to EMS and the infrastructure industry. This may include: translating the team ability and experience in to bids, tenders and proposals, marketing through LinkedIn, review the order book, creating and maturing services/products.
