Overview
Location: Norwich
Start date: September 2025.
Application criteria:
- GCSEs: C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- AAT Level 2 or an A Level in Accounting is desirable for this role. If you do not have this, you will need to complete a 10-hour online course
- You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, JLL are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
Required skills:
- Have a curious mindset so you can learn and grow with JLL
- Passionate and eager to build your career in the finance industry
- Good at adapting and working at a fast-pace whilst maintaining a positive attitude
- Confident in using laptops and Microsoft office programmes like Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Have strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Able to connect with others easily and build strong relationships
- Excellent spoken and written communication with high standard of English, including spelling and grammar

About the Accounting Apprenticeship
JLL's 18 month finance apprentice programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification.
You will be studying the AAT a Level 3 pathway to becoming an Accounting/Bookkeeping professional, as well as gaining experience in all areas of the team’s expertise so you can build your career. You will gain exposure to various clients through rotations within the accounting department whilst learning about other operational departments such as banking services and credit control and how they feed into accounts. Anyone without a degree can join this programme, as JLL are focused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional.
What your day-to-day will look like:
You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of what you’ll experience. This isn’t a complete list and there may be other responsibilities you take on as required:
- Learning and connecting with teams across the business to deliver a great service
- Contacting and building positive relationships with clients and occupiers
- Updating information accurately on the finance and property management systems
- Undertaking account and data analysis to provide additional insight to JLL clients
- Supporting the preparation of reports and accounts
