About the role
This six-week Summer Internship gives students the chance to work with expert Quantity Surveyors and Cost Managers in a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll gain hands-on experience, learning real-world skills in property and construction projects. Exceptional performance may lead to an invitation to interview for JLL’s graduate scheme the following year.

What you’ll do

  • Use property systems and tech tools to gather information and provide solutions for clients
  • Build relationships across the business and with clients to deliver high-quality service
  • Assist with cost plans, interim valuations, cost reports, and reinstatement cost assessments
  • Visit properties to carry out inspections and attend meetings

Skills and experience
Applicants should be in their penultimate year of a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (RICS accredited). You’ll need:

  • Minimum of seven GCSEs at grade 6/C or above, including Maths and English

Other qualities we’re looking for:

  • Strong interest in the property industry, especially residential assets
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Willingness to travel as required

Right to work
Applicants must have permanent right to work in the UK. JLL cannot sponsor visas for this internship.
