You’ll need to be 18 years old on the 1st September 2025.

GCSEs at grade 4 – 9 in both Maths and English (obtained).

3 A Levels at grade BCC. These grades can be predicted, but any offer made to you will be conditional upon successful achievement of these qualifications.

About the Technology Engineering Apprenticeship Programme
Qualifications: Level 6 Digital Technology Solutions with Manchester Metropolitan University
Duration: 4 years
Salary: £26,500 + fantastic benefits
As a Technology Engineering Apprentice, you’ll dive into coding, problem-solving and building digital products people use every day. Forget tea runs. Think real projects, real customers, real impact.
This apprenticeship is a deep dive into software engineering. You’ll study at Manchester Met and apply your learning directly to projects at Lloyds.
You’ll cover modules like:
- Programming fundamentals & databases
- IT project management & cyber security
- Full stack web development
- Software design, architecture & enterprise programming
- Testing, quality assurance & professional practice
By the end, you’ll graduate with a degree-level qualification and four years of hands-on experience.
You’ll master:
- Python, Java and other core languages
- Databases, networks and security
- Full stack web development
- Agile teamwork and modern software practices
