Who Are Schroders?

Schroders are a global investment manager. They help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.

They have around 5,000 people on 6 continents. They've been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn't change is their commitment to helping their clients, and society, prosper.

What is the Human Resources apprenticeship programme?

In this apprenticeship you will provide an effective, efficient and professional HR service covering full administrative, operational and project management support to the Reward and Wellbeing and HR Business Partner Teams.

There is potential to rotate across a number of teams across the whole HR division over the two year programme. You will join as part of the Investment20/20 programme, with opportunities to meet and network with others across the industry and participate in training, socials and insight events.

This role has three main functions:

  • HR Administration, including managing the HR direct inbox and calls, and acting as the first point of contact for all HR Direct queries.
  • Data Management, including entering data into the HR system and maintaining the electronic filing system.
  • Employee Relations, including providing note-taking support and assisting the HR Business Partner Team.

Who Should Apply?

Schroders are looking for someone with an interest in working in HR and excellent administrative skills. They want an enthusiastic individual who will be professional and proactive.

Ideally, you will have achieved 96 UCAS points to be eligible for this role. However, Schroders will still consider applicants who have not quite achieved this requirement.

You must be 18 years old by 5 September 2022.
