📝 Application Criteria:

  • Recent school or college graduates with A-levels or BTECs.
  • Individuals unsure that university is the path for them.
  • Must be 18 years old by 7th September to apply for the 2025 intake.
  • Living in England.
  • Must not be enrolled in another funded apprenticeship or further education programme at the time of starting.
  • A-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects – no minimum UCAS points required.
  • Level 2 in both English and Maths (GCSE grade A* to C or equivalent) for those undertaking a level 3 or higher apprenticeship.

About the opportunity

Schroders’ two-year apprenticeship programmes give school and college leavers a hands-on introduction to investment management and the opportunity to develop key skills, gain professional qualifications and build an industry network. They have a wide range of opportunities across their business.

What you'll do: 

HR Operations

You'll play an important role in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll support the day-to-day processes that keep their people experience running efficiently – from onboarding new joiners to helping employees throughout their time at Schroders Greencoat.

Systems and Data 

You’ll also get hands-on experience working with the HR systems and data that support our people and policies. This is a great opportunity to build your technical skills, learn how we use data to inform decisions, and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality.

Business Partnering and Employee Experience

You will gain exposure to our leadership teams, building knowledge of how their business operates commercially, and their employees’ experience within it. Alongside the HR team, you’ll work with managers and leaders to drive performance, enable career development, and implement policy consistently.
