Application criteria: 

To apply, students must:

• Be living in England and have lived in the UK for at least 3 years before September 2026
• Be aged 18 or over by 7 September 2026
• Be a school or college leaver (A-levels, BTECs or equivalent)
• Not be enrolled on another government-funded apprenticeship or education programme
• Have GCSE English and Maths at grade 9–4 (A*–C) or equivalent

There is no minimum UCAS points requirement.

• Strong communicators who enjoy building relationships

No previous experience in investment is required. Schroders will provide the training and support needed to succeed.

About the opportunity

As a Solutions Apprentice, you will:

• Gain hands-on experience in an investment team
• Complete the Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist qualification
• Work towards the Investment Management Certificate (IMC)
• Have the opportunity to study towards the CFA qualification later in their career

Apprentices will also join the Investment20/20 programme, giving them the chance to network with apprentices and trainees across the investment industry, attend insight events, and build key professional skills.
