What is the Intermediary Sales apprenticeship programme?

In this two year apprenticeship, you'll be part of the sales teams within the distribution part of our business. You will join as part of the Investment20/20 programme, with opportunities to meet and network with others across the industry and participate in training, socials and insight events.   

As an apprentice you will look to understand the needs of the team's client base and provide a responsive and proactive level of service to our clients. You will spend 20% of your time working towards achieving your qualification. The rest of your time will be spent working with your team and gaining the skills you need to build your expertise.

Some of the tasks and projects you'll be involved in are:

• Developing relationships with clients and attending client events.
• Responding promptly and professionally to queries from clients via email and telephone.
• Supporting sales teams with their activities.
• Developing your sales skills from one of the highest profile and quality teams in the business.

 

Who Should Apply?

Schroders are looking for someone with experience in providing excellent customer service in any industry, and an enthusiastic self-starter who is eager to learn more about the business. A natural flair for developing relationships and an entrepreneurial approach to work is also important.

Ideally, you will have achieved 96 UCAS points to be eligible for this role. However, Schroders will still consider applicants who have not quite achieved this requirement. 

You must be 18 years old by 5 September 2022.
