Who Are Schroders?
Schroders are a global investment manager. They help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future.
They have around 5,000 people on 6 continents. They've been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn't change is their commitment to helping their clients, and society, prosper.
What is the Fixed Income Product Executive apprenticeship programme?
This is a two-year programme where you will gain two years hands-on paid work experience. You'll be part of the Fixed Income Product team within the investment part of our business.
You'll receive ongoing training designed to develop you throughout the apprenticeship, where you will have the chance to improve your skills as well as your technical knowledge. You will join as part of the Investment20/20 programme, where you will have opportunities to meet and network with others across the industry and participate in training, socials and insight events.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining department statistics, including product AUMs (Assets Under Management) and team changes.
- Helping to prepare PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, portfolio review meetings and conferences.
- Liaising with teams across the business to co-ordinate product support in multiple time zones.
- Helping to respond to ad-hoc queries from internal teams.
- Helping to prepare client reporting packages on monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
- Liaising with overseas Product Management and Sales & Distribution teams.
Who Should Apply?
Schroders are looking for someone with an interest in investments or financial services, with experience using Microsoft Office. They want an enthusiastic self-starter with a keen eye for detail, who is happy to work independently or as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have achieved 96 UCAS points to be eligible for this role. However, Schroders will still consider applicants who have not quite achieved this requirement.
You must be 18 years old by 5 September 2022.
