Flying Start Technology degree apprenticeship (study first pathway)

On the Flying Start Technology degree apprenticeship you will enjoy the best of both worlds: attend one of our partner universities to study Computer Science or Software Engineering as a full-time student and then get a taste of what it means to work in PwC’s technology teams on multiple integrated placements throughout your degree. On placement, you’ll work on cutting-edge digital and technology client projects. PwC pays your tuition fees and pays you a salary from day one, and if you perform well on placement and at university, you could secure a graduate job with us. 

Flying Start Technology degree apprenticeship (work first pathway)

Our work-first model in Manchester is a three year programme. You’ll spend the majority of your time based with our technology teams at PwC, working with our technology experts to solve our clients' important problems. Approximately 20% of your apprenticeship will be spent studying relevant modules for your degree apprenticeship at Ada, the National College for Digital Skills. This integrated approach will enable you to fulfill your full potential by learning “on-the-job” and enhanced by your academic study. 

Flying Start degree: Accounting

PwC’s Flying Start degree in Accounting is a great way to fast track your career in Business and Accounting. During the four year programme, you will study at one of the country’s leading universities and have three paid work placements at PwC during the academic year, meaning you’ll still have your summers to enjoy! By the end of the four years, you will have completed 80% of your ICAEW Chartered Accountant exams, and have a degree. Perform well and you’ll receive an offer to join one of our Audit teams on the three year graduate programme, and become a fully qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant. 

Flying Start degree: Business Management apprenticeship

PwC’s Flying Start Business Management apprenticeship will give you exposure to real client work from day one as a part of our Operate team in Belfast whilst studying for a degree at Ulster University. You’ll work with clients from a wide range of industries which could include Financial Services, Retail and Local Government, to solve their operational problems whilst helping them transform and deliver, giving you lots of opportunity to learn on-the-job. You’ll attend university on a day release basis to study towards BSc Hons Leading on Customer Operations, meaning you’ll have the best of both worlds. PwC will pay you a highly competitive salary from day one, and fully fund your tuition fees.

School & College Leaver opportunities

If university isn’t the route for you and you’re keen to get straight into the world of work, you could join PwC as a full-time employee via one of our School and College Leaver programmes, working in Consulting, Operate, or Tax. They’re designed to develop your business skills through real client work, whilst completing formal training and studying towards professional qualifications, giving you the opportunity to learn alongside making a real impact on our clients and our business.
