Verisk is a software company that started out in 1993.
It steadily grew to 400+ employees, based in London, Manchester, Malaga and Jersey City.
Verisk build software for business customers who operate in the global Insurance sector. This means they hire people who have an interest in areas such as technology/software development and software sales.
They have customers (Insurance Brokers and Insurance Underwriters) that operate all over the world. They have very strong ties to Lloyd’s Insurance and the London Insurance Market, and are expanding into general insurance product areas in the USA.
They work hard, but have fun doing so – they are well supported in training and development and there is a strong multicultural feel to the company. They now wish to put a greater emphasis on creating a career launchpad for school leavers who have the potential and desire to develop a career in the tech sector.
