No. Uptree is a dedicated early careers platform used by over 150,000 students across more than 800 UK schools, concentrated in areas of highest deprivation (IMD 1-5). 70% of our event attendees are from minoritised ethnic backgrounds, 54% are first-generation university and 48% are eligible for free school meals.

These are students who don't show up on a general job board because they're not looking there, and traditional recruitment channels rarely reach them either. Every opportunity you post is promoted through our student platform and teacher network and newsletters, putting your organisation in front of students who may never have discovered you otherwise.

Your organisation can recruit or share information about apprenticeships, entry-level jobs, work experience placements, insight days, internships, virtual events and careers information across the year. There are no limits on the number of opportunities you can publish whilst your subscription is active.

Most employer profiles are reviewed and approved within two business days. Once approved, your opportunities become available to students across the Uptree network.

Yes. Every employer and opportunity is reviewed by our team before being published. This helps protect the students and schools in our network and maintains the quality of opportunities on the platform.

No. The Starter Package is designed to be completely self-serve. You can create your profile and submit opportunities without needing an account manager to build this for you.

If you'd prefer a more hands-on service, our Community Builder package includes a dedicated account manager and tailored outreach support.

Students discover opportunities through the Uptree platform, personalised recommendations, teacher and student newsletters, social media and employer searches. Your opportunities remain live for students to browse throughout their advertised period.

General job boards are designed for people already searching for jobs. Uptree is built specifically for students aged 16–19 who are exploring their next steps, whether that's an apprenticeship, work experience, an insight day or their first job. We also work directly with schools and teachers to help opportunities reach young people who might otherwise miss them.

Yes. Cancel anytime before renewal, or upgrade to Community Builder or a bespoke package whenever you're ready to scale.

Yes, £2,000 covers a full year of unlimited listings and national distribution. Or you can start off at £1,000 for six months. All prices exclude VAT.
