National: Insights into Opportunities at Arm Online event

Overview
Got a love for coding? Hardware design? IT project management? STEM more broadly? Then arm could be the place for you. arm technology is a driving force behind 95% of the planet's connected devices – from your smartphone to VR headsets to the world's fastest supercomputer. If you start a role with arm, you'll master your craft while working with the biggest names in tech.
This is an amazing opportunity to join arm on a half-day, Insight Day led by their early careers team and supported by Uptree. It's a brilliant opportunity if you are thinking about what to do when leaving school and would like to learn more about the skills you need to succeed in applications, what opportunities are available, and to meet the recruiters directly.
How the session will run
- Icebreaker and welcome from arm Early Careers
- Explanation of different programmes available at arm
- A chance to speak directly to current Apprentices, Graduates and Recruiters to get all your questions answered
- Feedback support session - a chance to run through careers support on a variety of topics with a member of arm!
- Next steps and conclusion
- Informal business networking and Linkedin connections.
Who should attend
- Students who are interested in a University, apprenticeship or internship route into STEM
- Students who are interested in careers at arm.
- Students who will be in either Year 12 or Year 13 (England and Wales) or S5/S6 (Scotland)
Next steps:
- Register for this interactive online session via your Uptree account - there are only 25 spaces available, so register early to increase your chances of being selected.
- Priority will be given to those students who meet the elgibility criteria listed above.
- Prioritisation will begin 2 weeks before the event date; if you register after this time, you might not receive a response from Uptree.
- Successful applicants will receive an invitation 1-2 weeks before the event date.
- If you have not heard from us 7 days before the event date, your application is, unfortunately, unsuccessful for this event.
