Inspiring Speaker: Tutu Kamara
Tutu is an accomplished Risk professional with 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Tutu has had extensive experience at senior levels in internal audit and operational risk. Her experience has included roles in Banking with the Barclays Banking Group (both retail and commercial), Insurance, and most recently, Asset Management.
She currently works at Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), a top 10 firm that has over £1 trillion of assets under management. There, Tutu has been instrumental in setting up a new department that has a firm-wide remit to embed a culture of risk responsibility within process teams, which will lead to second line functions (Risk and Compliance) re-focusing on surveillance and escalations. She has also been active in the cultural and ethnicity network within LGIM’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
