This Application Masterclass event is virtual, and forms the first stage of the application process for J.P. Morgan's Summer School in August 2022. There are 60 spaces available for this event. All students are welcome to register, regardless of location. To be eligible you need to be available to attend the work placement between the 22nd and 26th August 2022

J.P. Morgan is the world's top investment bank and the 7th largest technology company internationally. This Application Masterclass event will lead onto an incredible opportunity for Uptree Year 12/S5 students to attend a week-long summer school, focussing on technology, with J.P. Morgan in London between the 22nd and 26th August 2022. J.P. Morgan would like interested Uptree students to attend this application masterclass to find out how to apply.

Who should apply?

Year 12/S5 Students who want to find out more about J.P. Morgan's Summer School running from 22nd and 26th August 2022

Year 12/S5 Students who are interested in finding out more about a career in technology within the investment banking and, finance space. 

 - You must be in Year 12/S5, have 3 GCSEs (England and Wales) or 3 Nationals 5's (Scotland) and be going into Year 13/S6 in September 2022.

-You do not need to have previous experience in technology but J.P. Morgan will be looking for students who have an interest or hobbies that are relevant. This could be a project you did at school, something in your personal time or a part-time job you have!

The team at J.P. Morgan will see your application form the Uptree platform so take your time on it and get someone to read through it if you need!

This Application Masterclass event is virtual, and forms the first stage of the application process for J.P. Morgan's Summer School running from 22nd and 26th August 2022. The Summer School in August will be held in-person in London but is open to students from the whole of the U.K. You can find out more information about the support offered to attend this programme below.

 

Key information about the Summer School opportunity 22nd and 26th August 2022: Travel and Accommodation

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for students who live outside the M25 and will be spending more than £20 on travel costs over the week if you meet the stated eligibility criteria. JP Morgan will cover these costs for you if you meet the eligibility criteria (stated below) as part of your application.

J.P. Morgan will also cover daily travel expenses for local students if you meet the eligibility criteria as part of your application.

To be eligible for full travel and accommodation support (costs covered by JP Morgan):

• You are currently in receipt of or have previously received, free school meals, Pupil Premium, Education Maintenance Allowance and/or a 16 to 19 Bursary
• You will need to spend £20 or more on travel to the location of the programme (central London), using regular means of transportation like train, bus or tube
• You have to live outside of the M25

To be eligible for travel support only (costs covered by JP Morgan):

• You are currently in receipt of or have previously received, free school meals, Pupil Premium, Education Maintenance Allowance and/or a 16 to 19 Bursary
• You will need to spend £20 or more on the commute to the location of the programme (central London) using regular means of transportation like train, bus or tube
