Application criteria:
- Someone with a desire to develop and progress within a bids and business development role.
- You must have 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at Grade 4 or above, as well as 3 A-levels (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C or above.
Key skills:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with a wide range of people.
- High level of attention to detail with significant emphasis on accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

About the Addleshaw Goddard Bids Coordinator Apprenticeship
This programme will allow you to gain hands-on experience in an extremely varied role, supporting the firm in winning new work from clients. You will work within the Bids team to help develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality bids, proposals and presentations. You will work towards completing the Bids and Proposal Coordinator Level 3 apprenticeship with the Association of Proposal Management Professionals as part of the programme.
Upon completion of the programme, you'll have the opportunity to progress within the team and continue building your career with them (subject to vacancies).
Below are some of the responsibilities for this role:
- Check emails for new bid opportunities or updates, maintain the bids database, and schedule meetings to progress projects.
- Research clients, competitors, and the legal market to help the team build strong, tailored bids.
- Create, edit and format bid documents to a professional standard in line with the firm's brand guidelines.
- Liaise with colleagues, including lawyers, to gather information on their expertise for inclusion in bids.
- Support the team with general administration, including organising files and keeping records of bid progress and outcomes up to date.
- Share ideas for improving the way bids are managed and information is presented.
