Location: London, Edinburgh, Manchester or virtual

Application deadline: Friday 29th January 2027, but we recommend getting your application in as soon as possible.

Event dates: Each Insight Day runs from 3pm to 6pm, between Monday 15th and Wednesday 24th March 2027, with the date for each location listed below.

Application criteria: Eligibility depends on where you would like to train:

• England: first year law students, or first or second year non law students
• Scotland: first or second year students in any degree discipline
• Ireland: first or second year students in any degree discipline

You can only make one Insight Day application per application round, so think carefully about which event you would like to attend before you apply.

Addleshaw Goddard’s Insight Days are a great way to get to know the firm if you’re interested in a legal career there. Across the afternoon, you’ll meet people from across the business and get practical advice on what law firms look for, along with helpful hints and tips on Addleshaw Goddard’s application process.

Addleshaw Goddard are happy for applicants to use AI tools thoughtfully, for example to research the firm and the legal market, brainstorm ideas or check spelling and grammar. However, they ask that you don’t use AI to write your answers, invent or exaggerate your experience or complete any online tests, because they want to hear your genuine voice.
