As a Nutrition and Education Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Bio-Kult® brand by providing evidence-based nutritional expertise and educational materials. You will act as the primary point of contact for nutrition related enquiries, support marketing and commercial teams with scientific input, and help shape the brand’s consumer and HCP education strategy. This role bridges science and communication, ensuring that our probiotic and microbiome- focused products are supported by credible, engaging, and compliant messaging across all consumer and customer touchpoints.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact for human health nutrition enquiries via phone and email.
- Support the Bio-Kult® Marketing team and partner agencies in developing marketing resources, media, website and social media content, packaging text, and other communication materials.
- Contribute to the Bio-Kult® brand strategy on consumer and customer education, including the creation of technical support assets.
- Provide input into Bio-Kult®’s new product development (NPD) process; from idea generation to safety and efficacy analysis, training, and marketing support.
- Support Bio-Kult® commercial teams through staff, distributor, and customer training, responding to technical queries, and attending customer meetings or visits as required.
- Deliver Bio-Kult® product training for Health & Wellbeing B2C staff.
- Represent Bio-Kult® at conferences and exhibitions as required.
- Collaborate with the Medical Team on safety documentation, adverse event reporting, and compliance.
- Assist the Quality Team with risk assessments related to Bio-Kult® products, including ingredient specification reviews for cross-contamination risk.
- Respond to consumer and customer complaints where safety or potential adverse reactions are concerned.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data, including research on biotics and probiotics, to non-specialist audiences.
- High level of attention to detail and critical thinking skills, with the ability to verify data, assess evidence quality and ensure scientific accuracy before advising or creating content.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions and regions.
- Passionate about improving consumer understanding of nutrition, gut health, and overall wellbeing.
Education & Experience:
- Degree, or working towards it, in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related human biology discipline.
- Registered with BANT, AfN or relevant professional body is essential.
- Clinical experience (e.g., hospital, community, or private practice) highly desirable.
- Proven experience developing or delivering educational and training materials for B2C audiences advantageous but not essential.
