Working pattern: On site, part time, two days per week (specific days agreed at interview)

Application criteria.

ADM welcomes applicants with good knowledge and experience of hygiene, health and safety, pest control, food safety and company site standards. You will also need an awareness of pest control and food safety, confidence with record keeping and an understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

About the opportunity.

ADM is looking for a part time Hygiene Operative to join the team at its Corby site. Working under the direction of the team leader, you will carry out cleaning duties that keep the site hygiene operation running efficiently and help the site achieve and maintain high hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements.

Hygiene roles are an important first step at ADM, as entry level roles like this one can lead to progression into areas such as milling and laboratory work.

What you'll do.

You will work safely at all times by following the site's "only zero is acceptable" safety policy and help keep the site audit ready, including for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) audits, by maintaining high cleaning standards and accurate records. You will complete the hygiene schedule, communicating with department heads so the team can focus on the right priorities, and keep site facilities such as offices, toilets, locker rooms and the canteen clean and well kept.

You will also support the Hygiene Supervisor with pest control management, carry out site pest control activities as part of the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach, help manage waste through good segregation and disposal and keep track of consumable stock levels.
