• Minimum grades of AAB (136 UCAS points) or equivalent at A-Level, and on-track for/achieved a 2:1 undergraduate degree – mitigating circumstances will be taken into account 
• Minimum of seven GCSEs at grade 6 or above (including Maths and English)

Any mitigating circumstances will be taken into consideration.

About the opportunity

The A&O Shearman Training Contract consists of four six-month rotations (known as ‘seats’) that will give you comprehensive exposure to the firm's practice areas and develop you into a qualified solicitor. Upon completion, you will be awarded Admitted Solicitor status and have worked across live client matters in a leading international law firm.

Training contracts offer a direct route into the legal profession with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest legal minds in the industry.

  • Year two: £61,000 per year
