About the Investment Banking Origination & Advisory Apprenticeship
Apprentices will spend approximately 20% of their time studying at Queen Mary's University London as part of the apprenticeship scheme. You'll work towards the Level 4 investment operations specialist apprentice award by the end of year 2 and the Level 6 financial services apprentice award by the end of year 4. You'll also complete assessments provided by practitioner qualification providers (CISI, IMC, CFA).
At the end of the 4 year programme, apprentices will gain a BSc (Hons) in Applied Finance from Queen Mary's University, subject to passing all required assessments.
Your rotational experience in Corporate Finance will give you the opportunity to work in different teams and have a varied role. Your tasks might include industry research, company performance monitoring, pricing products for traders, preparing financial data analysis, pitching transactions to the team, participating in client calls or refining the way Deutsche Bank do forecasts. You will be involved in live deals, exploring new financing & lending opportunities, preparing marketing materials for clients, and reviewing deal pricing and structure comparisons.
