About the Solicitor Apprenticeship

First two years: apprentices will spend the first 2 years in one seat, allowing you to settle in and become acquainted with legal work. You will also complete 6 months with Forsters Compliance team which will help you to understand the business from an additional angle and grow your network across the firm.

Third and fourth year: you will embark on an annual rotation across some of the firm’s key practice areas, including: construction, commercial real estate, property litigation, and residential property.

Final two years: apprentices will join trainees in rotating six times across the firm’s different practice areas, providing opportunity to explore various areas of law. The final seat will be your selected qualifying seat.

The sixth seat will allow you to return to the department you choose as your qualifying seat, strengthening your knowledge and skills in the team before you transition into a newly qualified role.
