They are currently recruiting for an entry-level Insurance Account Handler to join their established business. If you are someone who is always happy to help, with a professional attitude this is an amazing chance to work with some leading industry talent whilst learning directly from them!

The Role

They're seeking a customer-focussed individual who would enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment to provide outstanding support to the Account Executives.  You will work directly with businesses across the UK to provide all types of insurance cover.  

The Account Handler is key to servicing our clients’ accounts during the renewals process which can include producing presentations, negotiating premiums and managing all paperwork. It's a varied and busy role, but one that will also broaden your expertise.

  • Working in partnership with Gallagher's Account Executives, to deliver the needs of your clients. First class interpersonal skills, dedicated to customer happiness and aware of maximising opportunities are critical to your success.
  • Build renewals documents, reports, balancing the mid-term adjustments and crafting new quotes for customers. A high attention to detail is essential when dealing with this much information.
  • Ensure client details are recorded accurately.
  • Provide cover by renewal date to meet your client needs. Being organised, efficient and dedicated to your clients means you handle all of this on their behalf.
  • Assist your clients with queries daily, confirm cover with the insurers, process policies and chase up outstanding documentation when required.
  • Manage all account queries and credit control matters, highlighting any concerns to account managers on time.
  • Use underwriting information to design and deliver presentations to insurers.
  • Follow up on new and existing renewal business quotations

Role Requirements

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • Worked in a team environment with excellent customer service skills and the ability to negotiate.
  • Evidence your strong rapport-building skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
