Overview
GSK is looking for Associate Project Manager Apprentices to join their team at GSK House, Brentford in West London. The Role and qualification
Your apprenticeship will be with the Consumer Healthcare Tech team, based at our GSK House site in Brentford.
GSK House is our head office based in Brentford, near Kew Gardens. Currently the facilities and access to GSK House are limited due to Covid-19. The expectation is that the apprenticeship will be started on a remote basis.
On our 2-year programme you’ll receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts from day one combined with early responsibility to help you to develop and progress.
You’ll be working towards the Associate Project Manager Level 4 qualification with either Qube Learning or Realise (our provider will be selected prior to the start date).
If you are offered a role; you will have a buddy or a mentor who will help you to prepare for joining GSK and will be there to offer support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship. Working with both your line manager and programme manager we want to identify the right opportunities to help you succeed in the short term and throughout your career with us.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship your Project Management qualification will equip you for a long-term career in the Project Management space. This could be in a Supply Chain Partner role remaining in the Consumer Healthcare Supply Chain arena or a Project Management role elsewhere across the Tech organisation.
What your day to day might look like:

act as a key point of accountability to the business for the overall delivery of Tech Strategies, Projects and Services for Consumer Healthcare Supply Chain

effective stakeholder management to build meaningful relationships, acting as the interface between the business and the broader GSK Tech organization

gain an understanding of opportunities, market trends and industry standards in order to be able to anticipate the needs of the business and suggest projects to work on
-
become familiar with the broader context of the project in order to maximise your understanding of requirements

set up IT projects with appropriate governance and work towards the successful delivery of IT projects
Requirements

Must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE (or equivalent) at grades 5 or higher which must include English Language (not literature) and Maths at grade 5 or above.

Must also have/be predicted to achieve a minimum of 96 UCAS points from your top 3 A levels or equivalent (not including General Studies).
