Application criteria:
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- 5 GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- 96 UCAS Tariff points. This is equivalent to:
- 3 A-levels at grade CCC with at least one grade coming from a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) subject.
- BTEC National Diploma MMM (3 Merits).
- All appropriate and equivalent UK and international Level 3 qualifications will be considered.

About the Research & Development Technology Lab Engineering Degree Apprenticeship
This is a four-year programme where you will work towards a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions Level 6.
You will receive tailored on-the-job training from industry experts from day one. You will have a buddy or a mentor who will help you to prepare for joining GSK and will be there to offer support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship.
This role is based in Stevenage. You will learn how to build, install, configure and troubleshoot problems related to computer hardware and laboratory systems in a Pharma R&D environment.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Managing hardware inventory, laptops and desktop systems.
- Patching, compiling and managing licences for PCs within laboratories.
- Working with a diverse range of internal customers, peers, external vendors and offshore colleagues.
