Do you want to learn the fundamentals of consulting, as well as develop your technical skills to kick-start your career? Do you want to analyse requirements and manage enterprise implementations? This role is for you!

The role

As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will learn about Agile delivery and be part of a team delivering automation and DevOps expertise for the customer.  The types of problems you’ll face will be varied and the solutions you help create will be innovative.

Your responsibilities could include but won't be limited to, developing a continuous delivery pipeline, automating the configuration of infrastructure or orchestrating a set of technical activities to make them repeatable.

At IBM you’ll be given the chance to work with ground-breaking technologies, and will be continually making a difference.

Who Should Apply?

You don’t need to be studying a business or technology subject, but you must have a keen interest and passion for technology.

IBM are looking for candidates with at least 5 GCSE's (or equivalent), at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English Language. They will accept Level 2 Skill Tests as an equivalent for GCSE's in Maths and English.

You will need to be mobile as all IBM apprenticeship roles will be project-based and typically you will find yourself working at client sites, which will require extensive travel and staying away from home during the week. IBM base locations are across the UK mainly in (but not limited to) London and Hurlsey. You must be authorised to work in the UK.
