IBM is currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join the Consulting business as a Junior Management Consultant Apprentice within the Public Sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work across health research, the NHS, and the biopharma industry.
The Apprenticeship Experience
This is a dual-focus role designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional excellence:

On-the-Job Impact: Four days a week, the apprentice will be embedded within a client-facing project team, gaining hands-on experience and solving real-world challenges.

Professional Development: One day a week is dedicated to formal study through IBM’s OFSTED "Strong" rated apprenticeship programme.

What you’ll do:
- Project Management Support: Assist management consultants in the delivery of projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients and understand their business needs and challenges.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret complex data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
- Solution Development: Develop and implement solutions to client problems, including process improvements and technology implementations.
- Communication: Communicate complex ideas and recommendations to clients and stakeholders through effective written and verbal communication.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, to deliver projects and meet client needs.
- Learning and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as artificial intelligence, consulting methodologies, and technology trends.
- Commercial Awareness: Develop an understanding of commercial principles and practices.
