Overview
Location: Hursley, London, Manchester, Warwick
Start date: 6th October 2025.
Application criteria:
- Valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England
- You must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- You need to be mobile as all of the apprenticeship roles are client focused and may require travel
- Maths & English GCSE or equivalent (level 4 or above.)
- Achieved a minimum of 120 UCAS points, equivalent to BBB at A level. You cannot have already started or completed an apprenticeship or university course in a similar area.
- Completed Further Education before starting at IBM

- You don't need to be studying technology, computer science or STEM subjects but you must have a keen interest and passion in technology. IBM are seeking talented individuals who are curious about Tech.

About the IBM Consulting Public Sector Digital & Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship
As a Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprentice you will develop a broad range of technical and business skills, including information systems, systems development, data, business organisations, project management and computer & network infrastructure.
You will also spend some of your time studying for your Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship at one of IBM’s university partners. You will get the opportunity to build your experience across the full variety of public sector accounts, including healthcare, defence, and local government.
Responsibilities will include:
- Client Engagement: Work with clients to understand their business needs and challenges and provide recommendations and solutions to improve their digital and technology capabilities.
- Solution Development: Develop and implement digital and technology solutions, including process improvements and technology implementations.
- Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret complex data to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
- Communication: Communicate complex ideas and recommendations to clients and stakeholders through effective written and verbal communication.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, to deliver projects and meet client needs.
- Learning and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as digital transformation, cloud computing, AI and data analytics.
- Technology Skills: Develop skills in a range of technologies, including cloud platforms, data analytics tools, AI and agile work practices.
