Achieved or predicted minimum 4 Highers at grade BBBB, achieved Maths and English Nat 5 grade C or above (or eqivalent), eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship and living within commutable distance to IBM Glasgow. Must not have already completed or started a similar apprenticeship or university course.

About the Opportunity

Kick-start your career in consulting with a global technology leader. As an IT Software Development Graduate Apprentice at IBM, you’ll work four days a week in as a Quality Engineer at IBM and study one day a week at university for an IT: Software Development graduate (degree) apprenticeship.   

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with AWS (Amazon Web Services) Infrastructure
• Working in a Cross functional SCRUM team with a Scrum Master, Developers, Business Analysts and Architects
• Gaining a good understanding of requirement analysis (user stories, acceptance criteria), test types, testing techniques and tools
• Gaining a good understanding of the CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Groovy

This is an office-based, client-facing role (minimum three days per week on-site), with potential travel to client locations.
