Overview

Location: Hursley, London, Manchester, Warwick

Start date: 6th October 2025.

Application criteria:

• Valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England 
• You must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• You need to be mobile as all of the apprenticeship roles are client focused and may require travel
• Maths & English GCSE or equivalent (level 4 or above.)
• Achieved a minimum of 120 UCAS points, equivalent to BBB at A level. You cannot have already started or completed an apprenticeship or university course in a similar area.
• Completed Further Education before starting at IBM 
• You cannot have already started or completed an apprenticeship or university course in a similar area. 
• You don't need to be studying technology, computer science or STEM subjects but you must have a keen interest and passion in technology. IBM are seeking talented individuals who are curious about Tech.

About the Technology Data & AI Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship

As a Digital and Technology Solutions Degree apprentice, you will develop a broad range of technical and business skills, including information systems, systems development, data, business organisations, project management and computer & network infrastructure. You will also take modules to develop your skills in a technical specialism. You will be working a minimum of 3 days a week at IBM.

IBM Digital and Technology Solutions Degree apprentices work in a variety of roles with a variety of technologies. These include: 

• Data &AI Technical Sales roles- primarily technical roles, involving skills in varied interesting and strategic areas: databases; datalake; lakehouses; data warehouses
• AI (Artificial Intelligence) including Large Language Models
• Assistants, including moving into Agentic AI – Autonomous decision-making agents which complete tasks for the user using automation
• Governance – of AI and Data
• Business Analytics – planning and visual tools
• Business Automation
