Application Criteria:
- GCSE English – minimum grade C/4 and Maths – a minimum of a strong grade B/6 or equivalent OR if you have already completed a L2 Electrical qualification a Grade C/4 in Maths can be accepted.
- You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, JLL are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme.

About the Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship
JLL are currently seeking an Apprentice Electrical Engineer to join their team in London. This apprenticeship program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and expand their knowledge in the field of electrical engineering on a four-year program. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will support various electrical engineering projects across their portfolio of commercial real estate properties whilst working towards becoming a qualified electrician.
The role will require 4 days per week in their offices and one day per week at Newham college. You will work towards the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician qualification.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Assist electrical engineers with the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including routine inspections and testing of electrical equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and recommend process improvements.
There may be other responsibilities you take on as required. Don’t worry though, JLL will be reasonable, and you’ll be fully supported! They want to help you learn new skills, so if you have the passion to do more then they will do their best to help you get there!
Salary: £24,000
