About the Business Services Apprenticeship

KPMG’s Business Services (KBS) function is the single provider of internal business services, advice, and expertise to KPMG, structured around three groups:

• Business Partnering: Providing strategic support and insight to business leaders
• Centres of Expertise: Deep specialist expertise and delivery of transformation initiatives
• Operational Excellence Hubs: Delivering services and support that keeps our business running efficiently

This apprenticeship sits within the Operational Excellence Hubs (OEH), an innovative, agile and collaborative function that delivers services to support KPMG colleagues in the delivery of their work. 

As an apprentice in Business Services you will: 

• complete a two-year programme where you’ll be fully supported with guidance from KPMG teams, as well as our external training provider, in everything there is to learn about Business Services.
• be based at KPMG's Birmingham office and spend at least two days per week working in office.
• be based in Administration Services KPMG (ASK) in Year 1 supporting the delivery of core ASK services and project support. T
• on completion of your first year, you may move into a different area of OEH for your second specialism year.
• develop a host of core skills to help you succeed in the workplace. From delivering and working on projects, developing a customer focused mindset, and learning how to work as part of a professional team.  
• work on administrative support tasks suc  as document production and travel arrangements to the recruitment of new talent and supporting firmwide projects.
• work with colleagues who take care of each other, building lifelong professional relationships and friendships as part of Our KPMG.
• work flexibly across your location region – at engagement sites, our offices and home.
