About the opportunity.

Over the two years of the Linklaters Training Contract, trainees rotate through four seats of six months each, working on some of the most complex transactions for the world's leading banks, corporates and financial sponsors. Spending six months in each department allows trainees to develop real depth of knowledge and experience, and by the end of the Training Contract they have the experience and insight to make an informed decision about where they want to take their career.

What trainees will get.

• Support in every seat from a Principal, who is a senior lawyer dedicated to their learning and development.
• Additional guidance from a Group Trainee Solicitor Partner throughout the Training Contract.
• Regular feedback and ongoing support from the Human Resources and Trainee Development team to help them track their progress and shape their development.
• The flexibility to adapt their seat preferences as their interests evolve over the two years.
• World class seminars and training tailored to each seat and practice area.
• The opportunity to broaden their perspective through an international or client secondment.

What trainees will do.

• Rotate through four six month seats in different departments across the two year Training Contract.
• Work on some of the most complex transactions for the world's leading banks, corporates and financial sponsors.
• Build real depth of knowledge and experience by spending a sustained period in each department.
• Develop the insight needed to decide where they want to take their legal career after qualification.
