Start date: Early to mid-September 2025

Application criteria:

  • GCSEs at grades 4-9 in both Maths and English Language and/or Literature
  • 3 A levels (or equivalent) at grade A*-C 
  • You’ll need to be at least 18 years old by the 1st September 2025 
  • Candidates who have a degree are welcome to apply but their degree cannot be in a field related to the apprenticeship due to a crossover in learning

About the Actuarial Technician Apprentice Programme

This is a full time 27 month, Level 4 apprenticeship. You'll complete Actuarial exams aimed at providing you with the knowledge and skills to be successful in your role and qualify as an Actuary. On completion of this apprenticeship, you will  progress to a higher level apprenticeship with a view of becoming a fully qualified Actuary.

The role will look at practical mathematics and statistics, financial mathematics, money laundering and actuaries code. 

Your salary as a Lloyds Banking Group Actuarial Technician Apprentice will be £25,000.
