Love finding patterns, solving problems and working with numbers? Step this way.

At Lloyds Banking Group, data drives every decision, every solution and every new idea. With millions of customers banking digitally every day and major investment going into cloud, AI and analytics, data is shaping the future of the business.

As a Data and AI Apprentice, you’ll learn how to work with large and complex datasets, spot patterns that others might miss and turn them into insights that make banking smarter, safer and simpler. You’ll combine real projects with classroom learning, and you’ll have dedicated time for your development along with a mentor, a manager and a buddy to support you.

Along the way, you’ll build skills in SQL, Python, forecasting, modelling and data visualisation, as well as AI literacy and applied analytics. You could be:

  • Spotting patterns in data that help stop fraud before it happens.
  • Helping millions of customers make smarter decisions about their money.
  • Building dashboards that give leaders the insight they need to make decisions.
  • Using predictive modelling and forecasting to understand what might happen next.
  • Telling clear stories with data so that complex information makes sense to everyone.
  • Building data products that people across the business actually use.
  • Making data accessible, ethical and useful for everyone.

By the end of the programme you’ll have your qualifications fully funded, hands-on experience with some of the UK’s largest and most complex datasets and versatile skills that open doors across analytics and AI.
