About the opportunity
This insight day will give you hands-on experience into the range of careers available at the UK's largest digital bank. You'll also learn about Lloyd's early careers programmes and explore how Lloyds Banking Group are #HelpingBritainProsper. Below are some of the things you will get involved in:
- An introduction to design thinking and engineering – exploring problem solving, critical thinking linking to careers in technology and data sciences.
- Skillsbuilder crime-fighter experience – exploring how we protect our customers from growing risk of online fraud and an opportunity to try your hand at fighting cyber crime!
- Meet current and alumni apprentices at Lloyds Banking Group and explore the value and opportunities presented through the apprenticeships system.
About the company
Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK’s largest digital bank which means that they provide lots of different online banking services. As a bank they look after people’s money and help them in every stage of their life, whether it's starting to save, getting a loan, or lending them money to buy a home. LBG also support businesses with their banking needs.
They have colleagues that work across a range of different business areas – some work directly with customers helping them to manage their money, and some support their business customers.
They also have a lot of jobs that are ‘behind the scenes’ in areas like data analytics, accountancy, project management, HR, auditing, and communications.
