Start date: Early to mid-September 2025

Application criteria:

• GCSEs at grades 4-9 in both Maths and English Language and/or Literature (England) or National 5 qualifications grades A-C in both Maths and English (Scotland)
• 3 A levels (or equivalent) at grade A*-C (England) or 3 Highers (or equivalent) at grade A-C (Scotland).
• You’ll need to be at least 18 years old by the 1st September 2025 (England) or 28th February 2026 (Scotland).
• Candidates who have a degree are welcome to apply but their degree cannot be in a field related to the apprenticeship due to a crossover in learning

About the Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship Programme

You’ll gain in-depth knowledge of financial markets and transaction solutions, to be well equipped to succeed in banking. You’ll enjoy unlimited opportunities to be innovative, think critically and add real value to the business. 

This is a full time 3-year apprenticeship where you’ll gain varied experience working on client and customer relationships, delivering services, financial services legal and regulartory framework, strategy and planning, problem solving and decison making. As part of your apprenticeship, you will complete the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) Associate Chartered Banker Diploma and Professional Banking Certificate.

Your salary as a Lloyds Banking Group Financial Services Professional apprentice will be £25,000 a year (£29,500 if based in London, Jersey or Guernsey).
