Love design, technology and understanding what makes people tick? Step this way.

Help shape how work works for 80,000 colleagues at one of the UK’s largest organisations, while Lloyds Banking Group continues to support 28 million customers.

The People Experience and Platform team brings data, design and technology together to create a better working experience for everyone at Lloyds Banking Group. As a UX Designer Apprentice, you’ll help decide how key moments such as hiring, onboarding and performance feel for colleagues, and you’ll learn how to improve the everyday tools and processes that people across the business rely on.

Over four years you’ll combine hands-on experience in a product and experience-led team with dedicated blocks of university learning throughout the year, and you’ll work on live projects from your very first day.

You could be:

  • Designing digital products and services around the real needs of the people who use them.
  • Using UX methods to turn ideas and user feedback into stronger, more intuitive experiences.
  • Working alongside designers, product teams and stakeholders to solve real problems.
  • Exploring the psychology behind how people think, feel and behave.
  • Using data and insight to make sharper design decisions.
  • Keeping on top of emerging technology and future trends.

You’ll also be part of the wider apprenticeship and Next Generation Talent community at Lloyds Banking Group, which gives you access to a shared learning journey, networking opportunities and the chance to build visibility with senior colleagues across the organisation. By the end of the programme you’ll have your degree, several years of real-world experience and fully funded travel and accommodation for your studies.
