About Maven:

The role:

Maven is looking for outstanding Year 13 students or recent school leavers to join their Finance team as an Apprentice. Maven’s Finance function is a small, closely-knit team that supports the operations of the Maven group globally. 

As a Maven Apprentice, you will complete an intensive training program in accounting and finance. You will rotate through a series of roles with a view to gaining exposure across all elements of finance administration, including bookkeeping, accounts preparation, management accounting and tax. You will build on this foundation as you progress through your apprenticeship program and have exposure to the global business from day one, allowing you to make an impact as soon as you are ready. 

In addition to your training at Maven, they will sponsor you to achieve your AAT Level 3 and 4 Diplomas in accounting, giving you time off to complete your studies during the week. You will also receive mentorship and coaching throughout the apprenticeship program to set you up for success.

What Maven are looking for: 

• 3 GCSE passes at grades A*-C/9-4
• 2 A-Levels at grades A*-E (predicted or achieved)
• Ambitious self-starter 
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills for dealing with employees and other teams
